Guggenheim, Statue Of Liberty, Coney Island and the Brooklyn Bridge

So we are off to Montreal on the 26th, then back here in New York on the 31st for New Years, and I think we are both satisfied that we have seen a lot of what New York has to offer.

We have seen some great things these last couple of days, the Statue Of Liberty and Ellis Island are definitely some of them, did you know that the statue is made of copper and is only as thick as a 20 cent coin? There's a fact for you!!! And the Statue was originally brown, and when copper oxidizes over time it turns green? There's another!! And the lady's fingernail is the length of your forearm? one more!

We got a taste of Summer down in Coney Island when we walked a long the beach, got in touch with our artistic side at the Guggenheim museum and walked on some history over the Brooklyn bridge.

Today we are going to see Wicked on Broadway and enjoy a New York Christmas Eve in Times Square, and tomorrow is the big day, Christmas and an NBA game at Madison Square Garden followed by a big Christmas dinner at Brasserie, and hopefully some snow!

We are thinking of everyone back home and would love to be there at this time of the year, we miss you all!

Love from Dan and Mel xoxoxo

Merry Christmas!!!
